Syracuse, N.Y. —Kaylib Singleton liked what he saw on a visit to Syracuse over the weekend and didn’t wait too long after getting home to become the latest verbal commitment in the largest recruiting class in the country.
Singleton (6-1, 173), a three-star defensive back from Orange Park, Florida, announced his commitment to Syracuse football on social media Monday night.
Singleton is rated as the 105th best player in the state of Florida by 247 sports. Rivals rates him as a 4-star prospect.
Singleton was previously committed to Rutgers but re-opened his recruiting process last month. Singleton had a total of 17 offers including from the likes of Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa and Texas A&M.
Syracuse’s 2025 class now has 32 verbal commitments, the most in Division I college football.
All verbal commitments are non-binding until a prospect signs a letter of intent. College football’s early signing day is December 4.
